WHY IS NATURE GREEN?

Our mother nature EARTH is green. When we spell out the words like environment, greenery etc. then why only nature and the green colour comes in our mind first? has any one thought ABOUT THIS ? 

As everyone knows that plants use a process known as photosynthesis to survive in which they use chlorophyll. CHLOROPHYLL is a green pigment present in the leaves that is used by the plants to make food during the process of photosynthesis.

Plants and leaves are green due to the presence of this pigment known to us as chlorophyll, the substance which makes nature green in colour. 

That's simple green is the colour that is reflected as chlorophyll is not good at absorbing green colour. The reflected green colour appears.
